Cowork Gloucester, a new shared office space and business-building venture, has found a physical location in the Courthouse area of Gloucester, VA.
“What we’re offering is more than just a desk. We’re offering [people] a place within a community of local entrepreneurs looking to help Gloucester grow and continue to be great! It’s time to find your tribe — your people,” announced co-founders Kevin Haggerty and Courtney Buzzell, as part of the official announcement earlier this week.
The new space will be located in the Gloucester, VA Courthouse District at 6814 Teagle Lane, directly off Main Street. The agreement with Jeanell LaFata of Teagle Insurance was made public on August 3.
Cowork has captured the attention of Gloucester entrepreneurs, and will introduce a new style of work to the community. It will provide entrepreneurs, small businesses and distance-learning students with a space to get work done, meet with clients, network with other like-minded individuals, print and copy, and more- all with the use of high-speed Wi-Fi and free coffee!
Kevin Haggerty and co-founder Courtney Buzzell will prepare for the official launch by furnishing the space and offering tours of the the building. Interested businesses should sign up at http://coworkgloucesterva.com/tour. Floorplans are also available on their website, www.CoworkGloucesterVA.com.
Cowork will continue to take sign-ups. Any businesses that secure their space before the official launch this fall will be listed as “Founding Members”, and receive the benefit of static rates, even with future increases. These members will also receive free advertising on the website and inside the venue.
Cowork is scheduled for its official launch before October 1, 2017. The space, when fully furnished, will feature amenities such as:
– 3 private offices
– A shared, casual cowork lounge with comfortable seating and a gas fireplace
– 2 conference/meeting spaces with big screen TVs and whiteboards for presentations
– Another shared workspace with sitting and standing desks
– A kitchen with full fridge and microwave
– Access to printing/copying
– Access to business mail reception
– Lockable storage
– FREE high-speed Wi-Fi

“Courtney and I are incredibly excited. We truly believe this has come together by providence, and we cannot wait to see how this is going to continue to shape together!” said Haggerty.
