There are a limited number of tickets available for this event for $50 each. If you are interested in attending, contact the gallery before they are all gone. Between 7 – 7:30, there will be a live auction featuring some amazing opportunities to bid on artwork, jewelry, tools, tires, Florida Vacation, certificates for boat trips and beauty trips and other items which are too numerous and varied to mention here. Paul DiPasquali, the internationally famous sculptor of the Neptune statue at Virginia Beach has donated an original signed sketch to the auction.

Laughter for the evening begins AT 7:30. Local comedian Tom Holaday starts, followed by nationally known Brett Leake, who has been featured with comedians like Jay Leno. Brett’s presentation will have an intermission so that the one-of-a-kind hand painted aprons by our artists can be auctioned. They are beautiful and unique – much more suitable to decorate a kitchen wall than to serve as working aprons. Brett Leake will then return for his second set.

This is going to be an amazing evening featuring incredible food and desserts, cash bar, music, auction opportunities and live entertainment featuring local and nationally known comedians. It is an opportunity to get together with your friends and show that you think art is important in contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of our community. Gloucester Arts on Main would like to invite Middlesex, the Middle Peninsula and Gloucester Communities to be part of our fundraising event so we can continue our mission to bring art, the performing art and art classes to these communities. Without your help and support, we can’t continue this most important mission so join us and be part of art – because art is part of you.
