The Gloucester Main Street Association’s annual meeting has been postponed to Thursday, February 26th at 6:00 pm at the Main Street Event Center, 6894 Main Street. Join us as we look back at 2014 and discuss exciting initiatives including events for 2015, the Community Business Launch, cooperative marketing and advertising opportunities, and most importantly elect 5 new seats to the Board of Directors (in order to vote in the elections, businesses must have their 2015 membership paid by the date of the annual membership meeting.) Be sure to pick up a copy of our Annual Report! This year’s nominations are: Bonnie Cross, Rachael Hicks, Ellen Satchell, Yolanda Teschner, and Samantha Wills-George.
Bios:
Bonnie Cross: I’m a New Jersey native, graduate of William & Mary, a CPA and was the Chief Accountant for Gloucester County before my children were born. I had a career change after my dad’s illness with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s & my mom’s slow recovery from meningitis. Both parents ended up at Sanders Nursing Home, which became my home away from home. I was there so much I decided they should pay me for my time! I’ve been at Sanders for almost 14 years in various capacities and have been the Marketing Director since June of 2013.
Rachael Hicks: Stationed here as a child with the U.S. Navy, Rachael was raised in Gloucester and grew up working for her family’s energetic small business. In college she studied Business Management, quickly turning her focus to Real Estate and pursuing a career immediately upon graduation. Rachael has since earned several notable professional designations, most importantly being her Associate Broker’s license. She is an active member of our local, State and National Realtor Associations, and served on the 2013-2014 Gloucester Co. ‘Chamber Of Commerce’ Board of Directors. Rachael specializes in Waterfront and Inland properties, serving Gloucester, Mathews, Deltaville, Urbanna and White Stone.
Ellen Satchell: Ellen has over 39 years of experience in the financial industry including savings and loan associations, banks, and brokerage. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors 1999 and was a member of the Haley-Mansfield-Koptish Financial Group beginning in 2003.
Mrs. Satchell is responsible for the establishment of new accounts, overseeing all account maintenance items, adherence to Compliance practice, and ensuring client service items are handled in a prompt and professional manner at Mainsail Wealth Advisors.
Mrs. Satchell lives in Gloucester with her husband Bob.
Samantha Wills-George: Samantha Wills George grew up and educated in Gloucester County. Currently owner/stylist of Split Enz Salon. I have been in the customer service and beauty industry for 22 years. Experienced with guest service and marketing for different environments and guest expectations ranging from strip mall/brick and mortar mall, golf community, four diamond resort, and historical downtown.
