Back to the bands….drum roll please! Here’s the 2017 lineup!

Mercy Creek

Based in Virginia, Mercy Creek performs original music they call aggressive folk rock. Singer/guitarist Cheryl Nystrom and song writing partner/drummer Jim Ball combine elements of modern folk, world beat, rock, and hints of blues and bluegrass to create music that is fresh and unique. From world beat to folk, the musical styles used in Mercy Creek’s songs are anchored by Nystrom’s beautiful voice and intelligent lyrics.

Stuck on a Name

Stuck On A Name is a Reggae/Ska/ band based in Urbanna, Virginia. Playing originals as well as covering some classic favorites from these genres and more, and sometimes with a reggae/ska twist, Stuck On A Name can make the dance oor jump!

George Kilby Jr. & Sherman Holmes plays rough-cut American roots music. It’s about writing great songs, not keeping up great traditions. Lyrics cut to the heart of things with no apologies; and I break any rule I need to, so the music speaks directly to the people.

Urban Hill

URBAN HILL is a Tidewater, Virginia Blues Band which plays an entertaining & danceable mix of roots rock, R&B, boogie, blues, original music and country. Formed as the culmination of efforts by contemporary blues gutarist and vocalist Paul Urban and the “real deal” blues guitarist and vocalist Lathan “Pudgee.”
