First Friday of March: An exhibition of paintings by Carolyn Dudley

Carolyn Thompson Dudley studied painting and printmaking at VCU, where she received her BA in 1981. She received an MS in Art Psychotherapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School. After working 6 years in private psychiatric hospitals and marrying, she left this work to raise a family. She now paints full time in her Gloucester studio and is known for her landscape and portrait works.
She has exhibited regularly at the juried shows Arts Speaks on the Bay (winning a first place award in 2013) and the Montpelier Center for the Arts, South Atlantic Show, and last year, among other shows, was selected for the 37th Annual Virginia Watercolor Exhibition.
Free and Open to all. The exhibit will run for the month of March.
