Community members are encouraged to make a Christmas stocking (any size, design, material) for the Adult Literacy Christmas Stocking Boutique. Take your Christmas stocking to The Courthouse Restaurant for display. Restaurant patrons will bid on the stockings with the maker of the winning stocking to receive a BLUE ribbon and the buyer also receives a BLUE ribbon for becoming the chief fundraiser of the event. The funds from The Christmas Stocking Boutique are used to purchase books and materials for adult students who are studying to improve their educational levels.
