Attention military veterans and spouses.

Riverside’s Sanders Retirement Community and their Assisted Living team will host a free community lecture on the veterans and spouses assisted living pension benefit featuring Attorney Susan Jean.

The event will take place Thursday, June 21 at 6:30 pm.

Families may be entitled to a little known pension benefit called Aid & Attendance that can defray the cost of Assisted Living by $1949 for a couple or $1644 for a single veteran.

“Imagine living a maintenance-free, supportive lifestyle that enhances your independence – with much of the cost paid through your earned pension benefit,” leadership at Sanders’ Assisted Living said.
