Celebrate First Friday on Gloucester Main Street! Enjoy an array of events taking place throughout downtown including exhibits, live music, shopping, wine tastings, and more.

Gloucester Arts on Main will be celebrating another First Friday event featuring the wearable art created by fashion designer and artist, Babbitt Belcher. For 30 years, Leslie Babbitt has designed original pieces that have been featured on the runways of Fine Fashion Shows and on many women who possess confidence, attitude, and originality. These one-of-a-kind pieces are distinctive, classic, and timeless.

Music for the evening will be courtesy of Vernon Holloman, a well-known guitarist and singer, with his interpretation of jazz and Latin music.

There will be a cash bar and Shari’s famous panini’s.

The Silver Box is hosting a “Fashion Night” from 5-7PM. Shop their new dresses, learn how to creatively tie scarves, and receive this season’s latest styling tips from live models! Don’t miss out on a night of fashion, fun, and freebies.

Kelsick Specialty Market is hosting their monthly wine tasting from 5-7PM. This month will featureĀ special guestĀ Clement Brown, distributor for Roanoke Valley Wine. Prefer beer? – HeadĀ over to their beer tasting on Thursday and chat with Hop & Vine’s beer rep while sampling a generous selection of beers.

Jessica’s On Main:Ā starting around 6:30pmĀ they have Up Late performing. They are an unplugged acoustic duo who will be taking the floor for the first timeĀ at JOM.
