“Living on the Water” is the theme for Gloucester Arts on Main throughout August. The gallery will kick off the month with its First Friday event on August 1 celebrating how local artists capture this region’s most precious resource.
Among the artists who will be displaying their work are Renate Bumgarner, Dick Welton, Mark Hierholtzer, Jan Price, and others.
The event Friday begins at 6 p.m. and includes a cash bar and Shari’s famous paninis, as well as music by Ralph Motley and the Last Minute Grass Band.
Gloucester Arts on Main is open daily Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. on Main Street in Gloucester. For more information visit www.gloucesterarts.org.
