The Summer Nights Market presented by Chesapeake Bank is hosting an Ice Cream Social with Short Lane Ice Cream tonight (June 25th) from 4:30-7:00PM at the Carriage Court Lawn.

Receive a free scoop* of Gloucester’s favorite hand-made ice cream. Short Lane was recently named “Best Local Ice Cream” in Virginia Living Magazine’s Best of Virginia awards.

Ralph Motley and the Last Minute Grass will be the live musical entertainment for the evening.

Families are encouraged to attend the community market.

Products available at the market include fresh produce, local honey, grass-fed beef, seafood, antiques, jams, jellies, salsa, flowers, fresh mozzarella, soaps, bread, clam chowder, Thirty One products, hand-made quilts, plants, Chick-fil-A, and much more!

Make plans to attend next Wednesday, July 2nd and enjoy the musical stylings of Morgan Stewart. The impressive vocalist from Urbanna will be sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

The Summer Nights Market is a certified farmers’ market and event series held every Wednesday at the Carriage Court Lawn behind the Gloucester Museum of History (6539 Main Street) through the end of August.
