The ‘Spring On Main – Fresh Picked Fashion’ show and fundraiser took place on Sunday, March 22. After months of planning and organizing the show (featuring The Silver Box, Up South, Yolanda’s On Main, and Split Enz Salon) was a huge success! The three Gloucester Main Street Boutiques provided the new season fashion styles, and Split Enz Salon gave the models their fabulous finishing touches with hair and makeup.

This show was planned to benefit The Giving Garden, a local cancer patient advocate group that provides financial assistance to cancer patients residing in Gloucester and Mathews, Virginia. The attendees of the fashion show raised $527 dollars through raffle entries and donations, while the business owners donated a collective $270, a pre-chosen percentage of their proceeds from the day.

Though we will never be able to truly show how grateful we are for all of the help and donations we would like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their contributions: Olivia’s Restaurant, Serenity Spa, Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Gloucester Office Supply, Smith’s Florist, Naturals, The Main Street Preservation Trust, The Gloucester Main Street Association, Grand Rental Station, DJ Mark Masengale, Thirty-One Rep Stacey Williams, Chick-Fil-A of Gloucester, Home Depot of Gloucester, all of the Boutique Models, and the many volunteers.
