Nominations for the 2015 Business Awards now being accepted, and winners to be announced at the February 13th event Dinner and Reception.
The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Annual Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, February 13th, and promises a night of dinner, dancing, recognition, and celebration. The event will be held at the Abingdon Ruritan Club on Guinea Road in Bena. Cocktail hour starts at 6:00 p.m.
The event will recognize 2015 accomplishments, map out 2016 goals, and announce the 2015 Business Award Winners. The five Award Categories are: Small Business of the Year, Nonprofit Organization of the Year, Best New Business (1-3 years in operation), Professional of the Year, and the LOVE Gloucester Award (Recognizing a business which exemplifies what it means to live and do business in Gloucester). Nomination packets are available on the Chamber’s website at www.gloucestervachamber.org. To be considered, Businesses and Organizations located in Gloucester do not have to be a Member of the Chamber. Businesses and Organizations located outside of Gloucester, do have to be Chamber Members. Nominations are due by Wednesday, January 20th, 2016.

We look forward to celebrating accomplishments, recognizing those who have served the Chamber, the business community, and Gloucester County; as well as outlining new initiatives in 2016,” said Gloria Mazzella Williams, executive director of the Gloucester County Chamber. “The 2015 Business Awards are a great opportunity for the community to use their voice, and nominate some of the trailblazers in our region, and our local economy. It’s going to be a great night!”
Tickets are $45 per person and the event is open to Chamber Members, guests, and the general public. Live Jazz and Dixieland music will be performed by Gloucester’s own,” The Good Shot Judy little BIG Band” and their 11 piece orchestra.

Elegant International will be catering a New Orlean’s style menu, and there will be a cash bar. Table Sponsorships are available for $500, and include tickets for 8 people, table wine, signage, mention in our program and more.
