The Daffodil Festival Committee along with Main Street Association, MSPT, the Comfort Inn, Whitley’s Peanuts, the Chamber, Brent & Becky’s Bulbs and Parks-Recreation-Tourism, along with the Virginia Tourism Corporation have sponsored the LOVE Gloucester Getaway Weekend April 22-23. There will be entry forms, entry form boxes decorated with daffodils, and 4′ x 8′ banners announcing the contest at the Visitor’s Center historic Court Circle, at Whitley’s Peanuts retail store in Hayes and at the Interstate 64 East Coast Welcome Center, New Kent for the month of March.

The drawing will be held at the Daffodil Festival Stage Saturday April 2nd by the newly crowned Daffodil Queen.

During Garden Week the Gloucester Museum of History will host the Virginia Tourism’s LOVE Artwork. This event has once again demonstrated how the Gloucester business community collectively works hand in hand to promote the great town of Gloucester.
