The façade portion of the grant program is in its 5th year and the interior and merchandising grants are now in their 3rd year.  “The Main Street Preservation Trust is thrilled to be able to continue to offer these improvement grants” states Jenny Crittenden, Executive Director, “and it continues to be the catalyst for improving the physical nature of the downtown. For small businesses to have access to funding for the purpose of complete renovations or smaller projects such as installing an eye-catching awning, replacing a floor or HVAC unit or just simply painting to freshen things goes a long way in assisting in attraction of more customers and creating a vibrant downtown.”  For more information on the initiatives of the Main Street Preservation Trust, please visit www.mspt.org.
