Pictured is Tristan, read his story below.
I’m Tristan and this is my story… My best friend’s life ended unexpectedly and I ended up at the Shelter In January. Since I’m almost 9, that’s a very long time.
I had a good life with my friend; he taught me right from wrong and things like sit. We went on lots of walks. When he died, I stopped eating right and lost a lot of weight.
The Shelter Staff is feeding me a high protein diet so I’m gaining weight back, and they’re taking me for long walks to get my spirits up. I am well behaved, and would never ever start a fight.
I’m ready for a new home and a new best friend. Do you have room for me?
Meet Tristan at the Shelter today! Hours: Tues.-Sat., 11 to 4; Sundays 1 to 4.
