Friday July 15 @ 6:30 pm Summer Al Fresco with your BFF
Invite your girlfriends for an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter and fabulous flavors. Work alongside your BFFs and classmates, learning to transform fresh ingredients into an assortment of dishes perfect for enjoying under the sun or stars. We will walk you through the steps for everything from perfectly grilling chicken to creating a creamy risotto. You’ll hone knife skills as we prep ingredients for a refreshing summer salad. Plus, you’ll experience making a fruity sorbet accented with fresh basil. $49.00 BYOB
Sunday July 17 3:00 -5:00 Summer Wine Tasting and hors d’oeuvre pairing
Experience five delightful summer wines paired with delicacies like salmon croquette, grilled marinated Flank steak Remoulade, grilled supreme of chicken with a peach chutney and more. This event is sponsored by Severn Republican Women and is a benefit to aid Gloucester’s Laurel Shelter ( a safe house for abused women and their children) and local political candidates. $25.00 each $45.00/pair
Monday July 18 – Friday July 22 @ 4:30pm Kitchen Fundamentals Kids Camp
In this fun, five-day series, teens will practice essential kitchen skills and master the fundamentals of cooking. Young chefs will love working alongside classmates learning everything from grilling and roasting to braising and sautéing. Plus, they’ll discover how simple it can be to make homemade pasta, classic sauces and tasty baked treats.
We’ll get hands-on and cover the fundamental of cooking such as rules for handling knives, sauce making, baking ratios, making pasta from scratch and the importance of kitchen safety. Along the way, kids will take notes as they learn to create a variety of delicious sweet and savory dishes. Then on day 5, budding chefs will apply all the principles and techniques they’ve learned in an exciting team cooking challenge.
Teens ages 11-17 are welcome to join this popular culinary camp. Classes run about two hours each and last for five consecutive days. Each young chef will take home a packet of the recipes they make and a Good Life Kitchen apron. Share your love of cooking by giving your teen a foundation that will benefit them for a lifetime and an experience they’ll never forget.
Classes are available as a five-day series only. No single class enrollments. $195.00 for the week.

Become the confident cook you’ve always wanted to be—join us for this three-part series and master the basic skills for kitchen success. Whether you’re a beginner or simply looking to expand your culinary repertoire, our instructor will teach you all the essentials for creating incredible meals from scratch. This mini culinary-school education consists of three hands-on classes where you’ll learn how to create dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients and discover tips for getting the most value out of your time and your food budget.
Classes are available as a series or individually. $50.00 each class $145.00 for series of three.

Chef Lorraine, an alumna from Firenze’s colossal Ristorante Sabatini, will share techniques for creating bold, authentic Tuscan flavors with summer’s bountiful produce. You’ll love working alongside your date and other couples learning secrets for everything from perfectly grilling chicken and sweet corn to making creamy polenta. We’ll walk you through the steps for quick pickling and making pesto from scratch. Plus, we’ll end on a sweet note with a fresh berry dessert that’s perfect for sharing. $90.00 per couple. BYOB
