Kelsick Market

Kelsick Market is pleased to announce that thanks to the support of its incredible customers throughout the month of April, Kelsick Market donated this week $400 to The Samaritan Group, Inc., marking the first Kelsick Kick Back program check presentation of the year.

Kelsick Market launched the Kick Back Program earlier this year as a way to celebrate its 25th anniversary in business in Gloucester. Each month, through the fall, Kelsick Market has selected an organization in the community to support through a portion of sales from that month.

May’s recipient is the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society.

The Samaritan Group, Inc. (SGI) provides funds for families who are seeking temporary financial assistance. SGI has provided more than $1 million to more than 3,000 families since it was organized in 1991. Founded in 1991 by citizens and business leaders in Gloucester County, SGI is designed to provide financial assistance for families in temporary need. People served must be a resident of Gloucester County and have been so for a minimum of 12 months. Assistance is only be granted once within a 12 month period.
