Mayan Inspiration Art Exhibit featuring Mary Montague Sikes at Gloucester Arts on Main

Other ancient sights beckoned me, and I painted rocky broken ledges and forbidden portals. These paintings became the beginning of my Mayan series.

Workshop February 10th 10am-3pm

This workshop is about using pastels for working drawings to aid in the creation of large acrylic paintings. “For many years, Mary Montague Sikes has created pastel paintings on 20″ x 26″ Cansen pastel paper to use as working drawings for large acrylic paintings.”
