Cordon Davis: Agent with Gloucester Southside Insurance Agency. I’m a Gloucester native, after four years at William and Mary I moved to Virginia Beach where I met my wife Angela, we now reside in Gloucester with our daughter, Adalyn. When I get out of the office I enjoy spending time with my family, sailing, and the outdoors in general.
Stephanie Heinatz, founder of Consociate Media, a Virginia-based public relations and communications consulting firm, cut her teeth as a newspaper journalist.
Whether working on assignment in her own hometown, or in remote areas of East Africa or war-torn Iraq, Stephanie believed one thing – stories are the most powerful way to reach people and inspire change.
She brings that same strategy to Consociate Media, where she specializes in working with business owners to tell their stories across a wide range of new and traditional media.
Telling those stories can be just that – writing for web content, Blogs, press releases and more. In a communications world where content is king, having fresh, unique and relevant content should be at the heart of all storytelling.
But it’s also helping your business – your dream – develop an overarching strategy to connect to that larger audience. Those services can range from establishing and maintaining a social media presence, building an editorial calendar, strategic messaging development, market research and more.
Before founding Consociate Media, Stephanie also served as a Strategic Communications and Media Training Consultant / Contractor for the U.S. Defense Department and led the corporate communications for a large healthcare organization.
Stephanie works with a variety of clients, from non-profit organizations and healthcare companies, to military training institutions and luxury bed and breakfasts.
Gloria Mazzella Williams: Co-Owner Gloucester Based Small Business, Under Boats, Inc. (Commercial Diving and Salvage) with my husband Matt, and I work for Three Rivers Healthy Families (a home visiting program promoting healthy children and parenting). I have a 5 year old son Paul and a 2 year old daughter Josephine. We love Gloucester! We moved here in 2008 and in 6 years we have enjoyed starting our family, forging new friendships and enjoying the benefits of living in a small but vital community. When I am in Gloucester, you will find me running on Main Street, hiking and playing at Beaverdam with my family, eating at Main Street Restaurants, cooking at home, spending time with friends or enjoying Gloucester’s many outdoor events! I enjoy languages and travel. In efforts to bolster my own fading Spanish proficiency, and to provide the community a safe space for non-judgmental practice of the English and Spanish language, in January of last year, I started a monthly group at the Gloucester Library called Café Español. When we moved to Gloucester, we were starting from scratch, new baby, new home, new town. Main Street provided my family an opportunity to feel connected to the community at large through the outdoor restaurants, events, open spaces and water.
We hope that you will join us next Thursday for an exciting night filled with great food, drinks, and prizes. We will have Devils Backbone, Mobjack Bay Seafood, and other fantastic Main Street vendors on site! This is a great opportunity to learn more about Main Street and find out how you can get involved. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the GMSA office at 695-0700 or email director@gloucestervillage.com.
