Gloucester Arts on Main’s First Friday Event will be on the second Friday – July 11th starting at 6:00 pm and will feature a Steam Punk Extravaganza, directed by none other than David Lee and friends, presenting their amazing machines inspired by the steam era. There will be live music by the “Porter Haus Project” band with their jazz and groovy blues improvisation blended for easy listening. The festivities will further be enhanced by a cash bar and Shari’s famous paninis.
All who come are invited to come in costume and Wendy Harris will be offering her unique Henna body decoration. The event will be streamed live over the internet so all the festivities can be shared on that platform.
The Steam Punk machines will be on display during the month of July and can be seen during the normal gallery hours of Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. Be sure to come in and check out the Steam Punk Show, the art and the classes we are offering this summer.
