Mark your calendars for the next Shop Local Day on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Chesapeake Bank is teaming up again with area chambers of commerce and businesses for Shop Local Day. Participating merchants displaying The Buck Stays Here decal will be offering hard to resist discounts. So, not only will shopping locally save you money, but when the buck stays here, we are recirculating money in our community to create a stronger and more prosperous local economy.

Chesapeake Bank has made it easy for you to plan your Shop Local Day itinerary. Just preview all the merchant offers or filter your selection by choosing a specific category like Art & Antiques or Sporting Goods and then select a destination. Preview your customized list, print and shop! Some merchants will be extending their offers, so be sure to read each offer carefully so no detail will be missed.

Be sure to check back often to view new merchant offers or discounts. Merchant offers for Shop Local Day will be accepted and added to the online directory through April 30, 2014.
