On Saturday November 15th at Gloucester Arts on Main, the Shotgun Blues Brotherhood are rolling in with their eight piece band. Their performance promises to bring back memories of the great songs from the film “Blues Brothers” with Joe Balushi and Dan Akelroyd on a “Mission from God” featuring the musical talents of John “Elwood” Vukovich and Father Kevin “Jake” Sweeney singing – “You Got to Love Somebody”, “Chicago”, the theme from “Rawhide” and “Jail House Rock”. This is going to be a night to remember when John “Elwood” Vukovich and Father Kevin “Jake” Sweeny bring the humor and drama of that great film to Gloucester Arts on Main. There will be good music – without the chicken wire – humor without the explosions and confusion of the National Guard – just a great opportunity to come out and have an evening surrounded by art, listening to great old favorites – chillin’ with the cash bar, paninis, old and new friends.

Doors will open for the event starting at 6:00 pm and the show will start at 8:00 pm. Tickets to this event are $12 before November 15th and $15 at the door.

It is also a great chance to check out the art on display as well as jewelry and other temptations.
