Over 300 attendees came out for the Gloucester Main Street Association’s first Annual Wine Walk on Thursday, July 18th.

The sold out Wine Walk was a self-guided tasting tour that encouraged participants to explore the Gloucester Village, shop, socialize, experience local restaurants, and sample fabulous wines. Participating businesses included: Kelsick Specialty Market, Split Enz Salon, The Silver Box, Up South, Wilton Cottage & Garden and Yolanda’s.

Attendees sampled 12 unique wines from around the world including whites, reds, sparkling and more at 6 different locations. All wines featured were available for purchase at Kelsick Specialty Market.

Lulu Birds Kitchen, Olivia’s and Bangkok Noi Thai Cuisine all offered special dining discounts in honor of the event.

The Wine Walk was part of 3rd Thursday, Chesapeake Bank’s monthly shop local event held throughout the entire year.

The event was made possible thanks to the support of: The Main Street Preservation Trust, Chesapeake Bank, Consociate Media, Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, and Xtra 99.1 FM.
