The Main Street Association is pleased to announce Split Enz Salon as the presenting sponsor at the Sixth Annual Blues and Brews to be held Saturday, October 10 from 2 to 7 p.m.

Split Enz Salon expanded into a new location this past summer, renovating and opening a full-service salon inside the popular Tabb House located at 6596 Main Street in Gloucester. Blues and Brews festivities will take place on their property.

This year at Gloucester’s iconic music and craft beer festival, the festivities will include more than 20 different hand crafted microbrews from Devils Backbone, St. George, Williamsburg Alewerks and more. Wine, hard cider and gluten-free options will also be available.

Live music begins at noon and will showcase a mix of straight-ahead blues, folk rock, psychedelic funk and alternative. The line-up includes Mercy Creek (2 to 3 p.m.), Herbie D and the Dangermen (3:15 to 4:15 p.m.), Tom Euler Trip (4:30 to 5:30 p.m.) and The Ballast Band (5:45 to 6:45 p.m.)

Main Street Blues and Brews is held rain or shine.

Tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door. Ticket price includes a souvenir beer glass with event logo, six craft brew taste tickets and all day access to the musical line up.

Split Enz Salon is run by owner Samantha Wills George, who brings a variety of services to the Gloucester Village, ranging from custom cuts and color, smoothing systems, hair extensions, natural and gel nail services and more.
