Farm-fresh produce, delicious food, arts and crafts, and live entertainment! Held weekly June through August from 4:30-7:00pm (rain or shine), the market is an event series and certified farmers’ market. Located at the Gloucester Museum of History and Carriage Court, the new location offers easy access to parking. Browse a wide variety of unique shops with extended hours on Wednesday nights or dine at one of the village’s wonderful restaurants.

This week at the market we have the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society (dogs are welcome to come, but must be on a leash) and live music by Paige Melton. Paige defines Classic Folk Music, not only with her outstanding voice and guitar but with that innocent “flower child” attitude that so embraced the 60′s and 70′s. Singing songs from the Woodstock generation comes natural to Paige, whose repertoire consist of Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Janis Joplin and James Taylor in addition to a number of popular artists from more current decades.

Join us on Wednesday, June 18th for a “Live Life Stronger” event presented by Tidewater Performance and Tidewater Physical Therapy. Tidewater staff will be on site measuring market goers’ grip strength and their ability to jump. Participants will be able to measure their ability with a leader board. Get inspired while having some fun!

The Hark will be the live musical entertainment for the evening. Based out of Williamsburg, VA, The Hark is a high energy act comprised of some of Hampton Roads most enduring , gifted and talented musicians and entertainers. Liana Jones (Vocals) and Dave Waltrip (Guitars, Piano, and Vocals) have put together an eclectic mix of material that sets them apart from so many other acts out there today. Combining Rock, Soul, Folk, and Dance from the 60′s to today in their own unique style.
