Ware Academy welcomes four new faculty members to its education team for the 2015-2016 academic school year.

Kori Fielding joins the Ware Waves as the new Director of Athletics and Physical Education teacher. Fielding earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Delaware and her Masters degree in Administration and Supervision from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Kori played lacrosse and field hockey at the college club level, as well as being a competitive gymnast in her younger years. Before joining Ware Academy’s team Kori was a Physical Education teacher in Williamsburg and enjoys teaching Crossfit at Crossfit Gloucester and boot camp at the YMCA Mathews.

Eden Blaylock joins Ware Academy as the new Music Instructor. Blaylock studied Music at Liberty University and has been the leader of the Ware Drummers for the previous two years. “As a known contributor of performances at past Ware events, our parents and students could not be more excited about this new addition, says Ginger James, Director of Admission and Special Events.”

Bailey Fantauzzo joined the Wave team as the new dance instructor. Bailey’s impressive background began early and includes dancing roles with Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company, the Nashville Ballet and the Rochester City Ballet. Ms. Fantauzzo studied at the University of Cincinnati, College of Conservatory of Music. “Bailey’s experience in dance performance, instruction and choreography will pair well with our school performances said Mr. Thomas L. Thomas, III, Head of School. We are thrilled to add this level of experience to our staff”.

Other faculty changes at Ware Academy for the upcoming school year include the addition of Mrs. Amber Byrd as instructor of the Three Year Old Preschool program. Mrs. Byrd brings over 25 years of teaching experience to Ware. Amber is very active in her church. “Mrs. Byrd adds a new dimension to the program, strengthening the continuity, scope and sequence for the entire preschool curriculum,” Thomas said.
